Educational Programs and Approaches
At Oxbridge International School, we offer two programs in the school and two in the kindergarten.
1. The IB Program (International Baccalaureate) implemented at our school provides students with high-quality education based on inquiry-based learning.
2. The National Program, taught in Russian, focuses on advanced mathematics and English language studies.
Russian-speaking School at Oxbridge
The Russian section of Oxbridge International School emphasizes strong academic knowledge. The distinctive feature of the Russian section is integrating subject knowledge with 21st-century skills like critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication.
Approaches and Techniques
– Group research and projects.
– Gamification and differentiated assignments.
– Transparent assessment system: each unit lasts 5–7 weeks and concludes with a final assessment.
– Transfer exams: math, English, and two subjects of choice.
Individual Learning Paths
High school students select subjects based on university plans. To prepare them for this, they participate in elective courses and project activities.
International Assessment of Results
Students of the Russian-speaking section take international exams such as IELTS with impressive results. In 2024, two students achieved a score of 7.5.
International Baccalaureate (IB) at Oxbridge
IB programs help develop critical thinking, research abilities, and global thinking. Oxbridge International School is proud to offer a double degree — an Uzbek certificate and an IB diploma, which ensures the competitiveness of our graduates.
Key aspects of the program:
– Language skills development: English, Uzbek, Russian, Spanish, French and Arabic.
– Preparation for international IB exams such as E–Assessment and comprehensive exams in the Diploma Program.
– Support for admission to the world‘s leading universities, including preparation for IELTS and SAT.
Extracurricular activities and talent development
The school creates conditions for the comprehensive development of students, offering a wide range of clubs and sections.:
— Biology, mathematics, chess – study of complex topics, participation in competitions and tournaments, development of logical and analytical thinking.
— Art studios, vocals, dancing, sports – revealing creative abilities, mastering artistic techniques, staging performances, performances and competitions.
— Educational excursions and interdisciplinary projects – practical application of knowledge, acquaintance with scientific and cultural achievements, teamwork on research tasks.
School self-government allows students to take an active part in organizing events, develop initiative and managerial skills.
