Students of Oxbridge International School participate annually in various international competitions and olympiads organized by the school. These events offer unique opportunities for students to develop academic and athletic skills while engaging in cultural exchange. Below is an overview of the events in which the school’s students have participated in recent years.

1. Seoul, South Korea — Harvard Model Congress Asia (HMCA), January 5–11, 2023
In January 2023, students took part in the Harvard Model Congress Asia (HMCA) in Seoul. HMCA is a government simulation organized by Harvard University students, where participants from around the world discuss global issues and create solutions. Participation in HMCA allowed students to improve their public speaking, critical thinking, and diplomacy skills.
2. Almaty, Kazakhstan — Model United Nations (MUN), February 22–25, 2023
In February 2023, students participated in the Model United Nations (MUN) conference in Almaty. MUN is an educational simulation of the United Nations where participants represent different countries and discuss global problems. This event helps students develop leadership skills, negotiation techniques, and a deeper understanding of international relations.
3. Antalya, Türkiye — Friendship Cup Football, March 17–19, 2023
In March 2023, the school’s football team traveled to Antalya to participate in the Friendship Cup Football tournament. This event brought together teams from different countries, providing an opportunity for international competition and sportsmanship.
4. Bangkok, Thailand — World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) Global Round, August 24–30, 2023
In August 2023, students joined the global round of the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) in Bangkok. WSC is an international academic competition that includes debates, tests, and team-based events on various topics. This competition promotes interdisciplinary knowledge, teamwork, and critical thinking.
5. Side, Türkiye — Friendship Cup Football, October 27–30, 2023
In October 2023, the football team returned to Türkiye, this time to Side, for another Friendship Cup Football tournament. These regular trips strengthen team spirit and enhance playing skills.
6. Dubai, UAE — WSC Skittles, November 16–20, 2023
In November 2023, students participated in the WSC Skittles event in Dubai. This special stage of the World Scholar’s Cup includes diverse academic and cultural activities aimed at broadening participants’ horizons.
7. Istanbul, Türkiye — Fitbit Altyapi Istanbul Cup, April 25–30, 2024
In April 2024, the school’s football team participated in the Fitbit Altyapi Istanbul Cup in Istanbul. This tournament attracts youth teams worldwide, providing a platform for talent demonstration and experience exchange.
8. Baku, Azerbaijan — WSC Global Round, June 11–16, 2024
In June 2024, students traveled to Baku for another global round of the World Scholar’s Cup. This event brought together participants from different countries, offering opportunities for academic competition and cultural exchange.
9. Belek, Türkiye — International Football Cup, October 23–27, 2024
In October 2024, the football team participated in the International Football Cup in Belek. This tournament provided a chance to compete with international teams and improve their skills.
10. Shanghai, China — Upcoming Trip for CISSMUN, February 2025
In February 2025, students are set to attend the Concordia International School Shanghai Model United Nations (CISSMUN) in Shanghai. CISSMUN is part of the network of MUN conferences associated with The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN), offering a platform for global issue discussions and the development of diplomatic skills.
These events not only contribute to the academic and athletic development of students but also enrich their cultural experience, broaden their horizons, and strengthen international connections.
