The history of the formation and development of Oxbridge International School. The path to educational excellence

Founded in 2018, Oxbridge International School has quickly established itself as a leading educational institution in Tashkent. From the very first days, the school has been striving to provide high-quality education, combining the best traditions of classical education with innovative methods.

On September 15, 2018, the grand opening of the school took place, and five days later, on September 20, the school year began for the first students of preschool and primary education. In the very first year, Oxbridge International School introduced a program for learning English as a second language, which was an important step towards bilingual education.

In January 2019, the school expanded its facilities by adding secondary education classes and opening a school library. In March of the same year, a program for advanced study of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology was launched. This allowed students to gain in-depth and comprehensive knowledge in key scientific disciplines.

The year 2020 has become an important stage in the development of the school. In January, the Russian branch was opened, and in February, a program for the development of flexible skills such as critical thinking, teamwork and creativity was introduced. The COVID-19 pandemic has made its own adjustments and the school has switched to online education. Despite the challenges, Oxbridge International School successfully coped with the task and continued its education in a new format.

In 2021, the school received IB World School accreditation, which confirmed its compliance with the high standards of the International Baccalaureate. The introduction of a differentiated approach to teaching English and mathematics has made it possible to further improve the quality of education.

The year 2022 was marked by the launch of a new early childhood development program and the modernization of the school’s infrastructure. The learning spaces have been updated and the offer of extracurricular activities and sports sections has been expanded. This year, the school’s students took part in international Olympiads and competitions, which emphasized the high level of training.

In 2023, Oxbridge International School introduced an electronic document management system and created an online platform for distance learning. Career guidance programs for high school students were developed and implemented, which helped students decide on their future careers.

2024 was the year of innovation. In January, a new robotics laboratory was opened, and in February, a programming training program for children of all ages was launched. The school continued to expand cooperation with foreign universities, which opens up new opportunities for its students.

Since its foundation, the school has not stopped growing and developing. The new campus, which will open in 2025, will be a symbol of this growth. It will include a kindergarten, a Russian-speaking school and an international IB school. The 3.5-hectare area will house a football field, three indoor pools, assembly halls, sports and gyms, coworking areas and an extensive library. The total area of the campus will be 40,000 square meters, which will allow the school to take a leading position not only in Uzbekistan, but also in Central Asia.

Oxbridge International School is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and is a member of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). The school plans to add new academic programs such as Advanced Placement (AP) courses and develop an IB Career-related Program focused on the practical application of knowledge and skills. All this makes Oxbridge International School a leader in education and an excellent choice for parents who want to provide their children with high-quality and modern education.
